What about the questions
I guess there are also demand for the board exam questions out there. Currently the only source of previous year board exam questions is test paper. If some one needs to see the SSC exam questions then he will need to buy an old/used test paper from old book seller. Also he/she may not end up buying the right one that he may need or the one that he likes. I believe that all those old exam questions can be put on line so that it is available to whoever is looking for them all the time 24/7.

Current situation on publishing the SSC math solutions
Well, its been more than 3/4 months and still I have not gotten the solutions that I do intend to publish. It is kind of frustrating but I have no other options but to wait. I just wonder what will happen if a student needs it, how will he/she be able to find it? How come there are no resources out there for them? Well, I guess they will also need to wait for me for an indefinite time!! My main purpose to start this blog is to end that wait period from indefinite to none. Hopefully I will be able to do so in a short period of time. My personal belief is that it will help the students tremendously. Once it is published no matter when or where this information is needed, it will be available to the students. I am really looking forward to that day when I will be able to make it available to all those who need them.

Resource Sharing between Schools
As mentioned earlier there is huge difference in quality of education in different schools in Bangladesh. One way to reduce that gap is to share the information. If schools of higher standard share their information such as teaching method, exam question, pace of teaching, syllabus etc, the schools of not that high quality can definitely benefit from that. Specially the exam questions of high standard school are very important bench mark. Exam questions of good schools indicates the standard of students of those schools and they type of curriculum they follow. So by sharing the information the good schools can help other schools to improve their quality.
Digital Bangladesh and its Education System
The current government has announced to create a digital Bangladesh. Even though I really do not understand what they meant by digital Bangladesh, I guess it has something to do with computers and information technology. Government wants to computerize the whole government system, education system, health care etc. It is a ambitious goal indeed. I believe that if the government is indeed serious about it then they need to do it phase by phase and one sector after another one. Digitization is not a just creating some html pages and leave it there to let it turn into a abandoned portal with obsolete and backdated information.
The government should first implement the digitization process on a sector that is most easy to implement. I believe that easy sector is the education sector of the country. Government has already took some steps by publishing the education board results like SSC and HSC through the education board web pages. The school books from grate 1 to grade 10 can also be found online and can be downloaded for free. These steps shows that the government is puting some effort. Unfortuantely it is not enough. A lot lot more needs to be done. The digitization of the education system cannot be inplemented only the government - priate sectors, NGOs also do need to play a vital part to fulfill this goal. Unfortunately private sectors and NGOs are not coming forward to utilize technology to spread litarecey in the country. Private sector's involvement is integral parl of the whole process and cannot be ignored.

Technology In Education In Bangladesh
Technology specially Internet can play a very big role in Education sector in Bangladesh. There is big difference in standard of education in schools in cities and schools in villages or rural areas. It is unrealistic to expect that the government of Bangladesh will minimize that discrepancy through improving the infrastructures and providing better resources - at least this is not happening in next few decades. Well, sorry - this is the way I see it. In this era of information technology we can definitely come up with a much cheaper solution which is not only easy to implement but also will be out of reach of dirty bureaucracy of our country. The current solution to eliminate the gap of standard between the educational institutes in cities and villages are using the online resources. The main or basic idea is making the education resources available online and so that any one with access Internet can access that resource. I expect that in very short time Internet will be as ubiquitous as cell phones today. As smart phones are getting cheaper, more powerful and Internet enabled, it can be said that it will be very easy for the students of Bangladesh to adopt the online education.

For past few years I was trying to find the solutions of some SSC math questions that appeared on different education board exams. Obviously my first choice was to find an online resource where those solutions will be available. I did a lot of google search but the solutions were nowhere to be found!
